Happy Valentines Day everyone. I hope it was enjoyed by all.Levi's Valentines Day present this year was a little red motorcycle, just like Papa's. We gave it to him tuesday night, because Nathan couldn't wait until actual valentines day. Go figure. So, here they are putting it together. Levi discovered it first without wheels and still played with it for some time that way. He was just so happy.
Levi always jumps in to help Papa put things together or fix things. I have to drag him out from under the sink and take away his wrench when Papa fixes the drain. He's gonna be a little Handy Manny like his Papa I think.
He was really happy with his bike. He's pretty obsessed with it now. That night, I had to pry him off of it to go to bed, and he cried and said, "Bike!" Sometimes I let him take a toy to bed, but I don't think that would be wise.
He had the great idea to take his baby for a ride. Just like Papa does with him. He picked him up and put him right there, and he also took the baby's little hand and put it on the handlebar. It was very cute. He also puts his little toy animals on there.
And of course, Papa.
These next few are pictures of the gifts we received from Aunt Lora for Valentines Day. She got Levi a big Mickey Mouse sheet. He immidiately saw Mickey, of course. And here he is watching Mickey and covering up with the blanket. Pippin too, naturally.
Aunt Lora got me a coloring book and markers that she and I always used to color with whenever I went to her house. We would color for hours. They're very intricate flower pictures, and if you do them well, take a long time to finish. I've been getting down on it for a few days now. Thought she might like to see the progress.
This one took a long time. But it's pretty.
I didn't get to decorate this lovely spacious house for Christmas. I had to decorate and endure Christmas in the tiny house of perpetual fire, so when we moved I decided that I would decorate for the next available occassion; Valentines Day. I'm not posting pictures of all my decorations, because that might be a tad silly. But, this thing was so cool, that I took most of our pictures under it. It's still up, of course. I'm gonna leave all the decor up until February is over, and then I'm gonna put it all in our bedroom, because love is always appropriate there.
Nathan was swooshing Levi's head through and in between the hanging hearts. Clearly, Levi enjoyed it.
Nathan and I are finally gonna have our day of being alone to celebrate our Anniversary on Monday. We're gonna leave Levi with my friend Nancy and his friend Valentino. He should have a pretty good day playing and the likes. And Nathan and I are gonna paint the town red. We're gonna go to the movies for the first time in two years, and we're gonna go out to eat alone (gasp) and we're gonna ride around the Island all day on the motorcycle. Who knows what else, but I'm thoroughly excited. I hope it doesn't rain, and that we'll have hours of uninturrupted fun. I think it's appropriate.
