Sing Sing Sing
Levi has been asking me to sing made up songs every time I put him to bed...night or nap. And it's gotten to the point where he would have me in there for an hour if he could. And after I leave the room he yells "Mama! Sing!" So, we put a little boombox in his room so he can listen to music to fall asleep to. It's worked well. We still sing for a little while, but then I have that to hand it over to once I leave the room. So, I just put him down for a nap and he asked me to sing "Jesy Cri" I said, "Jacey Cry?" And he said "no....Jesy Cri" Then I realized that he was asking me to sing one of the songs from his cd. He listens to Fernando Ortega as he goes to sleep and the first song says "Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." It repeats "And the Lord, Jesus Christ" a few times. So he was asking me to sing about Jesus Christ! Once I started singing that particular song he closed his eyes. It made me feel pretty good.

I love that you already have your Christmas decorations up in the middle of October. I like to think that you celebrate Christmas for all of us major slackers that don't even have a Christmas tree (we'll try to do better this year...)
