Another update from Washington. Levi and I are plugging along. The next several pictures are how we're passing our time. This first picture is in Downtown Gig Harbor, right on the water where there's a little dock and grassy area to stroll about in. There was this Anchor Statue that Levi simply needed to climb all around. Looks like a burden on his back.

This is a little girl that Levi has made friends with. Evie. Her family goes to Aunt Martha's church and we met them the first Sunday we attended. Riah, her mom, got my number and said she'd call to set up a day to play. We ended up going to the zoo and McDonalds a few days later. We went out again with them today to pick up my car and go to a park for a picnic. She and Levi have a fun time. Unfortunately she'll live 2 1/2 hours away from him soon, but it's nice for him to have a friend while we're here.

One evening we went to Jeremy's Fire Station to see the trucks and get a bike helmat for Levi.

Levi got a scooter, thus he needed a helmat. Apparently you can buy them for pretty cheap at your local Fire Station and they'll make sure it fits properly and all that. So, here's Fireman Jeremy adjusting all the straps just right for safety.

This is Levi's new bff. A great find at TJ Max to fill the void in Levi's dogless soul. It's big, looks real, very soft and fuzzy and passable as a pet for now. Levi promptly named him Leelee. That's a nickname that Nathan turns Levi's name into on a regular basis.

A stray neighborhood cat has taken a liking to Levi and I. It followed us around the neighborhood on a walk one day, and now turns up on the porch every couple days. Here levi is making introductions.

Levi's first experience with blowing these weeds into the wind. Aunt Martha's back yard has a patch of them and now he knows what they're good for.
That stick is his fishing pole, and here he's doing the "I just caught a fish" pose. He's very hip with imagination and pretending.
So, that's been our last couple weeks. Our car is here now, so we're gonna paint Gig Harbor red for the next week until we pack up and fly to KC for a few weeks.

I'm so ridiculously happy that you are in Gig Harbor with my sister! I just love to see her with Levi and to know she's girlfriending around with you. And Jeremy the Firefighter! No way! It delights me. Did you love downtown Gig Harbor?
PS I'll bet you'll be in Gig Harbor plenty of times in the next 4 years, and Levi will always have a little friend there---Evie!
looks like he's having fun! I almost got Xander that exact scooter for his birthday. I didn't know that about helmets, I wonder if they do that everywhere...
Ari likes the cat in the picture, she's trying to figure out how to pick it up
