Birthday Party

Yes, another birthday post. If your face looks anything like Gracie's right now and you're wondering, 'is this birthday stuff ever gonna be over?' then don't worry. We're almost there.
I love the faces Gracie makes. And there are lots of them.
Auntie Martha and cousins Jeremy and Katie drove all the way up for Levi's party. When they got here we had a little time to spare so we took them to our backyard park.
Jeremy was pretty into it

Levi's party was at our downtown harbor playground. It's perfect scenery and we basically just let the kids play while the mamas sat on the grass watching and talking.
There was some playing and then there was some opening presents. The presents sort of were torn open here and there. It was hard to know when it was even happening. Children would run up in a flurry and then run off.

Then there was more playing....
And more present opening....


And back to playing. I think Jeremy may have had as much fun as the rest of the little boys.
Cupcake and singing time. It really is a pretty great tradition to have everyone crowd around and sing a song about/to you.





It's a good idea to spin around and around and around right after downing a few cupcakes right? Apparently.And that was the little man's birthday party. I love this picture. Looks like he's the king of land and sea.

Oh and after all the party fun we had a little visit from Mrs. Iron Man.
Levi's birthday fun lasted a good long time. At least a week of decorations, cakes/cupcakes, and presents that kept coming in the mail. Sadly, eventually the decor had to come down, and the mail stopped being exciting. One last fly under the web of streamers and we move on to something else. All he's left with his new favorite number....5. Until next year.
