Levi is now 9 months old. He's a growing boy. Although, he is now only in the 75Th percentile in his age group. So, he's balancing out. We still get the "wow, he's big" comments at grocery stores and the like, but I just smile with pride. I think it's funny that he has a big tushy. Most babies, especially boys, don't have a rump. But, he doesn't really have a choice. He has some big bootied parents.Anyway....he had his 9 month check up yesterday, and his next set of shots. He did not appreciate it. He also had to have a finger prick to do some routine blood tests for iron and whatnot. He really didn't appreciate that! It was a very troubling morning for him. It made him clingy all day. But, papa's home , so we had lots of family time. Nathan had to work Saturday and Sunday, so he's was off yesterday and today. He's also taking off Thursday and Friday so that with Presidents Day we get a 5 day weekend. That will be lovely.
Our new couch is being delivered today, so we'll just lounge around on it all week long, baby! I'll take pictures of it and post them so everyone can see how pretty it is.
Anyway, back to Levi. He's not doing anything too new, I don't think. I can't remember what all I've posted recently. He's standing up without holding on to anything for a few seconds now. He pulls himself up with whatever is around, and then lets go and balances for a few seconds. Then he falls to his substantial tushy and tries again. He likes to yell for fun. Really loudly. Whenever I'm in the kitchen cooking or cleaning, he comes to the baby gate, latches on and starts yelling at me until I either give him snacks (like at a zoo) or come out there with him.
*right now Nathan is dancing around Levi in circles saying "Hey ya ya ya ya" like an Indian chant. *

New couches are fun!
My kids have NO rump at all. Sophia did for a while, but even now she has a tiny tiny tushie. Thank goodness for Faron's DNA.
you know, our kids don't get the finger prick iron thing, they send us to have blood drawn! We took Isabella and they couldn't find her vein! They stuck her several times and even had us set up a second appointment to try agian. We never went back and none of the other kids have ever had it done!
Hey, Anna, good to hear from you. I have been checking on your blog the last week or so. Levi is such a sweetheart! He looks like he is a lot of fun. I will try to call you sometime this week. Take care.
