Goofy games

Levi and Pippin (aka "the boys") play some silly games. Every week or so Levi points to his big net of stuffed animals in his room and picks one out to play with. I wondered if he would lose interest in fake animals now that he has Pippin. But, he still loves to hug them and drag them around. So a few days ago he picked out this monkey, that I'm pretty sure Nathan bought for me a few years ago (it's shirt says "someone in the Navy loves me")but anyway. This monkey's hands and feet Velcro together so he can hug you. Of course, I hang it around Levi's neck, like a necklace. He found it pretty interesting. At first it was a little odd to him, and he kept taking it off. But in the next few days he put it on himself and just walked around with it, doing other things as he has a monkey swinging from his neck.

Naturally, we put it on Pippin too. What else were we gonna do? He also just walks around with it on until someone remembers to take the monkey off his back.

Levi loves to play with hats, as I've mentioned in the past. We have hooks on our wall when you first enter the house with hats hanging on it. Everyday, he points to it and asks for me to take the hats down so he can play with them. Once again, of course we put the hat on Pippin too. He's a very good dog for dressing up and the likes. He just holds perfectly still as you balance things on his head. As it should be. So here he is with his Navy hat and his ever present Leash.

Proud Navy dog and boy

Man, look at those toenails!!

LOVE Pippin in the navy hat, and with the monkey on his back. That's great that Levi actually likes to play with him. My kids don't really play with Joey, except about once a week when Alexander chases him around and they growl at each other.

Alexander just came over to look at the pictures and as soon as he saw it he said "Vivi!" (Levi)
and waved.

I LOVE each and every one of these pics, you could publish a book of A Boy and His Dog! Pippin is the bomb. Even Mrs. Bailey asked me where he was and said she missed him. Didn't know she cared, but there you go.
