over the weeks

Levi had his first sleep over a couple weeks ago. Valentino's mommy and daddy wanted to go out for Nancy's birthday, so he got to sleep over. He didn't come over until about 8pm, so they were a little revved up all evening. ;) Valentino was a little unsure, but Levi was all about it. First they read books for a little while together.
Then they shared a snack of "Fishies," opting to feed each other from time to time.
They danced in front of the television for a little while which always ends in collapsing and doggy piles.
Then they took turns pushing each other in Levi's toy stroller. Levi told him to sit in it first. And then once Valentino was finished he stood up and said, "You....turn."
I'd say it was a successful first sleep over.
These pictures were obviously taken a little bit ago since he has a full head of hair. They're just so funny, I had to post them. That's my work out headband, and Levi asked to put it on. Man, that kid can grow some hair.
This one is just because, doesn't he look like a 70's track star or something? Taking a quick drink of water along his run?
One day Levi rummaged through one of my drawers and came out with my rainbow bright-ish toe socks. Of course he asked for help in putting them on, immediately. Isn't he the wicked witch of the north...or whichever direction got smashed by a house?
Anytime we play with bubbles, Levi has to take a bath as soon as we get back inside. He completely slimes himself with bubbles....mouth and all. His version of blowing is to pretty well eat the wand.
The rest of the pictures are just cute close ups lately. He's growing up so much. He's so funny and outrageously cute. I know everyone think so about their own, but he's awesome. He's beginning to string words together to form sentences. He doesn't have connecting words like and, or....those kinds. But, he's definitely forming sentences to get his bigger picture across. One thing he's taken to saying is "Oopsie. Fell down." He kinda says it "Ootsie."
And he's very sweet. At night he has to give EVERYTHING hugs and kisses. Papa, doggy, bike...he even requested to kiss the pictures of flowers on our walls. I have to tell him, "Blow it" when it's something I can't get to. And he does. Then when I'm putting him down to bed, after our prayer and singing, I give him a hug and a kiss. And every single night I have to limit how many hugs he gets. ;) After about five or so, I have to say, "one more...that's all." And then he wants me to kiss and hug all his stuffed animals. He says, "Mickey. Kiss, hug. Mama. Monkey. Kiss, hug. Mama." Most nights I have to just say, "Ok. Goodnight." and close the door to him requesting more and more and more hugs. Just today Levi told me he wanted to hug papa. I told him papa was at work, but he couldn't stop telling me. "Hug. Papa. Hug." So, we had to call his phone and leave a message telling him that Levi would hug him when he gets home from work. I hope he always loves to be sweet. I'll definitely encourage it.
In this picture he's talking about a rocket...or "Rahrock" as he calls it. Blast off.
This boy is gonna have premature forehead wrinkles because he's always furrowing his brow at something. He's just learning more and more all the time. I'm surprised by the things he knows constantly. He understand everything I say to him...although he does say "huh?" no matter what I say. I hope I can keep up with him and continue to fill his brain with good things and not fill it with easy things. I think he'll be a fun student.

Looks like a fun sleepover, I'm sure Levi was enjoying it.
He does look like a 70's track star in that headband picture. He grows hair like Alexander, lots, and fast.
Alexander also says what to everything. I say, did you really not hear me Piper?

These are the cutest thing ever! Those boys and their sleepover. Anna, that's just like you wanting to hug everything and having limits put on your hugging--Mrs Whatshername in 1st grade! He's such a cross between you and Nathan I'm constantly amazed. Look at his big boy teeth! Furrowed brow indeed. He's and expressive one!
