Levi is 2 1/2 and JoJo will be 3 in November, but here they look so old!

I think if we stayed in Hawaii for Levi's entire childhood...like normal people do...these two could have a story that goes back even younger than mine and Nathan's. You never know...only God does. I'm sure He'll handle it.

As you can see JoJo has some hesitations about Pippin. Her dogs live outside, so she thinks it's a little bizzarr. I asked JoJo, "Do you want me to let Pippin inside, or leave him in his cage?" she said, "leave him outside, because if he comes inside he'll make doo doo." I explained to her that, no Pippin goes potty outside, even though he lives inside. After that she was ok with letting him in.

And she ended up playing with him and feeding him their popcorn.

They put on a concert for quite a while. JoJo played the piano and Levi sang. They went back to the piano many times throughout the day. They both live in houses overflowing with music. I know Jenene and I both hope they'll become little musicians and singers.

And no day is complete without some Hulk boxing. Pippin looks pretty worried in between them.

This picture is awesome. "Hulk Smash!" When Nathan and I were teenagers, one 4th of July, we put on a bonfire at Nathan's house. Our whole group went to Walmart to get supplies, and the boys ended up buying a set of these Hulk hands, also I think a huge bouncy ball and of course fireworks. I have pictures of Nathan boxing one handed like this with our friends back in the day. And after that one of our group catch phrases was "Hulk Smash" because the gloves say that when you hit with them. I found these last year and got them for Levi. Just brought back funny memories.

Beautiful Boy. Sunday at church, Levi asked if he could kiss the two newest babies, Roxie and Carleigh. I told him to ask their mommies, so he did, and of course they let him. We're good friends with both of these babies' families. When he kissed Carleigh, her mommy said, "Your first kiss. He's handsome, I promise." He really is.

The next evening, we had Valentino over so that Nancy and Freddy (his parents) could go out to dinner together. Nancy and Valentino are moving to California this weeks because Freddy leaves for Iraq soon. So, I wanted to let them have a date. Plus it was Levi and Valentino's last get together also. His first friends lost because of military lifestyle. first of many, I'm sure. Anyway, they had a fun evening of cartoons and playing with cars. What else could little boys want?

At one point Levi was hug-tackling Valentino so I grabbed my camera for a last photo opp.

As Levi had to say goodbye to Valentino, I also have to say goodbye to Nancy. We had a ladies night at my house Friday as a send off for our friend. The more friends you make, the more you have to leave, but it's worth it when you know God is the one who brought them into your life. We are a very diverse threesome.

Oh and last but not least....we got a new tv last week. It's glorious...aka ridiculously large. And here it is in all it's 56" splendor. Watching movies (especially blue ray DVD's) is miraculous. I think Jesus ordained it for our living room, really. And Levi wholeheartedly agrees that this is the way "Cars" was intended to be watched. "Kachow"

Looks like a fun week for Levi, lots of play time, and hugs.
Those hulk hands are bizarre, I'm sure Alexander would love to have some, but I don't know that the girls would appreciate being punched with big green hands all the time.
Things must be life size on that TV. Friends are good and remember freinds are friends forever if the Lord is the Lord of them. People come and go and we must love and enjoy what we have for how long we have it. Great pixes of kids.
What could be cuter that Levi and his Friends? JoJo is gorgeous! Can't wait to meet her family--sorry to miss Nancy's! Levi looks so much like you at that age. Wow. Super duper Dancing With the Stars watching on that TV that Nathan bought me. He shouldn't have...
Just too many pretty pictures to comment on them all. But what sticks out the most is Levi's beautiful blue eyes. And the fact that he has grown into such a social boy. Now, I know he doesn't know us and we don't really know him but I still feel like we've seen him grow up with the help of this blog. And it is so nice to see him playing with other children and making such good friends! That's what childhood is all about after all! I'm sorry you have to say goodbye to your friends. Goodbye always comes too soon. But it reminds me of a poem I once read.
"Some people come into our lives and quickly go . . . some people help our souls to dance and we are never ever the same."
