Christmas time fun and poses

I've taken lots of Christmas-y pictures lately and I wanted to just get them all out there. This is the big Christmas display on the Army base here. Levi loves going to it. Everytime we get in the car he asks, "Go see big Christmas tree and Big santa?" I didn't get a picture of the tree, but it's a huge pine tree covered in lights. And there is a big santa, just like this snowman, on the other side. I love how little and in awe he is in this picture.

Santa's sleigh is also there, of course. And Levi needed to run through the reindeer.

Here's his trip to sit on Santa's lap. He was happy about it, despite the look on his face. We talked about it all day leading up to the visit, and he was ready. Santa offered him some candy first of all, which was a pretty good lead in. But, Levi wouldn't look at me or pose nicely for the big picture time. So, this is as good as it got. But, he keeps asking to go sit on Santa's lap again, so at least he enjoyed it.

The next several pictures are from our at home christmas photo shoot. I was making up the Christmas cards to send out and realized I really didn't have a great photo to include. So, here's what we did about that. Levi looks mad here, but he wasn't. He enjoyed the photo shoot and wanted me to keep taking more and more pictures. In this one I had just told Pippin to say cheese and Levi scrunched his face like this and said, "No, Pippin no say cheese."

The next few pictures were taken with my cell phone, so they look pretty bad. But, it's the only thing I had when we decided to let Levi ride the little Christmas train at the mall. He enjoyed it very much and wants to go again. I was impressed with him for doing so well on it. It's just a bunch of little kids sitting together going around and around.

The track was surrounded by Christmas trees, and presents and decorations. It was really fun.

And to end, here are a few more Christmas photos. We wrapped all the presents and put them under the tree Friday during Levi's nap, so this is once he woke up and saw all of them.
