silly kids & snow days

I'm falling behind terribly with my blog, but I can not skip ahead. So, we'll go back a few weeks and see what my cute kids have been doing.

We have this puppy costume that Levi used for his cousin's costume birthday party in 2007. It has remained safe and sound because of it's cute factor and is now passed on to Bella girl. And Levi can never resist a doggy.

I have no idea where he got this...I hardly ever know where he comes up with things...but Levi kept saying, "You want uncle daddy to pick you up? Come to uncle daddy!" He's a little bit of a weirdo.

And then, naturally, he needed to be the dog; halter top version, of course.

It's been a few weeks now, but this picture was taken one of the first times I put Gracie's hair in a little spiky ponytail. It's actually necessary at this point. Her hair falls down into her eyes. She's a girl! Yea for hairdos....that is a questionable word.

I got Gracie a cat snow hat and Levi snatched it for another round of animal dress up. Gracie went crazy for him as a cat. It was really quite funny. I was trying to cook dinner and they were playing around my feet. Gracie was chasing Levi cat around, giggling and hugging him.

As always, Levi was fully into character. All purrs and mews with no words.

We've had some silly weather lately. It has been pretty crazy cold this winter (to us) and we've been cooped up allot. We suited up and went out into the rainy chilly weather for some bubble blowing.

This was one day....
And then bam...the next day we get this lovely but trapping scene.
Levi had to run up to the park while Gracie and I stayed back to watch. The tiny little princess couldn't take more than two steps without falling in the snow.

Ice cycle guns and pink girly helmets make for a great couple of snow days

It's definitely beautiful here when it snows. I'm not tired of snow, but I am tired of gloves and hats on kids every time we go anywhere.

It was a pretty snowy few days. But now I think spring might be on it's way. A very welcome change. This past week there have been tiny little daisies covering the grass!

I remember that puppy costume, so cute! Gracie looks good in it, and it still fits Levi!
The cat pictures are adorable, I like the one where Gracie's head is on top of Levi.
Crazy weather, just like here, we're ready for sprint too. Tiny little daises sound fun!

First of all, your photos are UH-mazing. It just kept snowballing as I looked a cute picture after cute picture. My favorites in this post are of Levi in the background with Gracie standing on a plastic box, yelling at the camera, then the following one of Gracie with the cat hood, then the one of Gracie with the cat hood standing outside (she's hilarious). Your snow photos are amazing, too; love seeing Charlie.

SECOND, thanks for your comment on my blog; don't cry for me Argentina, I blog for humor.

I hope you guys get stationed in San Diego someday!

Great pictures. Looks like they were having a great time in the snow, especially Levi and the dog. Nice to see someone else having snow besides us. Fun to play in too.
