filling our days

This whole post is simply documentation of how we've been spending our days during the month of February.
Gracie really enjoys looking at pictures. I think she really just loves anything that shows people with their faces smiling. She loves dolls and toy people. She says "hi" and smiles when a person or animal comes on the TV, which I suppose is pretty often. She's been telling strangers at stores "hi" for months now and Nathan seems to think her carefree friendliness might become a problem requiring a watchful eye. However, her love shown to daddy in pictures is perfectly acceptable. She sees a family photo and squawks at me until I take it down and let her cuddle with it. We kiss daddy's picture every night before bed.

Even right now she's sitting on my lap and trying to kiss her own picture on the computer.

Levi got a haircut a few weeks ago and ever since then Gracie has been pretty fascinated by his ears. For whatever reason, they were both sitting on top of our book basket and Gracie had pretty easy access. Levi didn't put up much of a fight.



He held a straight face as long as he could....

This is just how Nathan and I look sometimes. Nathan traps me in a bear hug and squeezes a tad too hard. Or allot too hard. As I protest and get snippy with him, he simply closes his eyes, ignores me and keeps the moment alive.

These last few pictures are just showing off Gracie's mad eating skills. Sometimes she'll attempt to use a fork or spoon. When she's in her high chair is about the only time I just let her get as messy as she pleases...which is darn messy. As a result we have lots of post meal bath times.

It just got to be too much work, I guess.
