It's ridiculous just how behind I am in this silly blog world. But I will continue on, nonetheless.
We had a pretty good Easter. I went back and forth on what our plans should be. But we ended up just having a simple day of church, picnic, and play at home. Sometimes that's the best way. No one can kick off our awesome Easter like Bunny Charlie.

Gracie's little dress on Easter was gorgeous. It was a present from Aunt Molly for her first birthday. This was the first time she was able to wear it, and it was still a little big. But she looks so pretty in it. And a little grown up.
After church we came home and had a picnic on the living room floor with our new Easter baskets. It was a little rainy and chilly outside. But after lunch we decided to go outside and walk around for a little bit close to home, in case it started to pour. I pretty much just opened the door, let them go, and followed them with the camera. And I am in love with every picture.

As soon as Gracie could, she kicked off her Dorothy shoes and took off for the hills.

It has been raining here allot. Shocking, I know. A good result of that is everything is so very green. It makes for stunning grass photos with my little country girl.

Levi has been getting into soccer lately. Nathan will be so excited when he gets home. I try to tell him some of the basics, like don't touch the ball with your hands, use your feet. okay, that's all I know...I'm out.

This is one of my favorite pictures from the bunch. They both look so nice, and I love their poses. They were just playing and I got to capture it without interrupting. I really like when I don't direct them. That day I didn't ever tell them to look at the camera or to "sit here" or any of that stuff. I just followed their lead.

He was coming over to tell me about something funny, I don't remember what. But I think he looks allot like Nathan in this picture. Makes me think of the Nathan I met at age 12.

Naturally we had to go to the park for a quick fancy play time.

Gracie kept picking flowers and she brought me this one. I like the blurry kids in the background. It is visual description of our day. I'm so thankful Jesus sacrificed Himself for man, then rose from the grave so that I could live this life to follow Him. I hope to glorify Him everyday by showing my kids the love of Christ. Having such a big goal also makes me overwhelmingly grateful that He abounds in grace and His mercies are new every morning.

Beautiful photos, as always!
I feel so uplifted, just seeing this post and reading your last comment. Plus that last photo---it's like THE MOM photo.
