girl day

One definite plus to Levi attending school a few times a week is that I get to spend more time with my tiny Gracie Bella goose. Earlier this week, we decided to have a day at the beach. Well not really on the sand, but walking the path and woods along the beach. (Excuse my gross and red face. We had our play time after some jogging time.)

I did not take my real camera with me. I wasn't anticipating a photography day. So all these pictures are taken with my silly phone camera. But they'll do. Gracie loves birds. She gets real excited every time she sees one and she always-always tries to catch them.

I think this is my favorite picture from the bunch. So cute, so excited, and so determined. She chased those birds around and around and around for a good 15 minutes. The birds hopped and hopped out of her reach. And if she got too close for comfort they would fly a couple feet then drop down to hop again in her game. Apparently they didn't mind the company too much. We strolled leisurely as we made our way back down the path. Gracie felt her Duck needed to to be involved. I love when such little tiny people have big imaginations and plans.

Strike a pose Gracie. Don't ya just love her? So tiny, so beautiful, and so feisty.

P.E.R.F.E.C.T.She is a "take action" kind of girl.

Gracie and I decided that it was more important to take our time and have a fun day together rather than worry about nap schedules. Thus, this is the result on the way to the grocery store.
Then I got to pull over and stare at this while I tried to let her sleep as much as possible in a parking spot. We had a pretty good girly day that ended with picking Levi up from school with Charlie in the car. Blew his mind.
