Doesn't he look too little to be sitting up? He looks tiny in that position. From our own measurements at home
he is 17 pounds and 25 inches long. I talked to a lady today who said her doctor told her to feed her two month old son less. What? A diet for a two month old?! That's obscene. What is this world coming to? I can't stand how obsessed and ridiculous people are about weight gain and so called obesity. It's sick and wrong and puts so much strain on people that doesn't need to be there. But I digress.

Anyhoo...my family is happy and doing well. I have a cute baby, cute doggies (here and in missouri) and a gorgeous husband. What more could a girl ask for?
I'm working with Levi on saying "mama." He just thinks it's funny right now, but he'll catch on soon. He's so smart. For the past few days he has really been watching me when I eat. He watches the food in my hand go up to and into my mouth. Then he watches me chew it. He watches me take a drink afterwards. He watches very intently and he smiles and laughs. Then today, I was holding him while eating a cookie. He watched for a couple bites; then he grabed my hand with the cookie in it. I figure he was going to try to take it to his mouth, but he didn't. He directed my hand to my mouth, and made me take a bite. Then he put his little hand on my cup while I took a drink. He did eventually try to take the cookie to his mouth, but I told him he couldn't have it, so he directed it back to my mouth. He studied the process for a few days, figured out how it goes, and decided to help out. Grammy says that means he's nurturing and not selfish.
He laughs all the time. He thinks most everything is funny. Except being hungry or sleepy, of course. But I don't think that's funny either. He's so sweet. He gives me the biggest smile just when I say hi to him. And he loves his papa. If I'm trying to feed him when Nathan gets home...just forget about it. He bends himself over backwards just to look at papa across the room. He's gonna be a really sweet boy, and funny I think. I think he'll have a great little sense of humor. Nathan and I both think we're the funniest people...ever, really. So, I'm sure he's bound to be funny.

good golly that dog is going to be huge! The last couple pictures I have seen of Levi remind me of Alexander, I can't decide what it is, but there is some sort of family resemblance.
A baby on a diet? Goodness gracious! Well, Naamy and I went shopping for little Levi last night. We may not be able to see Levi, but gosh darn it, we're bound and determined to be the "cool" aunt and uncle that buy buys him "cool" stuff! Wait till you see what we bought him. It's so cute!
