We went out to eat for Levi's 5 month birthday. It was his first time sitting in a restaurant high chair.
He did very well in it. And he seemed to really enjoy it. We even put a little sugar packet in his
little pocket on his sleeve, just to make sure he felt involved in the eating experience. It's fun to be fun.
He's a little short up to the table, but he didn't seem to mind. The challenge was just trying
to keep him from chewing on the far from sanitary table cloth. Children have lived through worse, I assume.
I can't get over how scumptious he is. "Are you just the cutest?" "I'm afraid I just might be."
He's really gotten into squealing/screaming, for fun of course. He wants to feed himself, with his bottle
these days. He can't do it very well, but he wants to, nonetheless. He shakes it and sticks it up his nose.
He has a good ol' time. It makes the eating time substantially longer, but I think his desire
to do new things should be encouraged. He loevs to laugh "ha ha ha ha" That was from Mary Poppins;
when they're singing and dancing on the ceiling. And he seems to know what supposed to be funny.
Humor should definitly also be encouraged. He's just awesome. I don't mind when he wakes me up in the night
or early in the morning, cause he's so delightful. I know it won't be like that every day forever, but it is right now.
Sometimes Nathan will get up with him in the morning on a saturday and let me sleep. And honostly, as nice as that is
It makes me grumpy for a while, I think because I didn't get to wake up with Levi. He's just joyous. Nice, huh?
