Levi turned 11 months on Wednesday. Only 1 month until his birthday! I'm going to frame all twelve of his monthly pictures, once he turns 1. So I was looking at all of them so far, and I can't believe how much he changes from picture to picture. Just from month 10 to month 11 he looks so much bigger and older. He was just starting to take steps then and now he's running all around. Just in one month he matures so much.
We played outside on his11 month day. He just figured out that he can crawl into the under compartment on our stroller. It was a pretty funny process.
Now he loves any form of a bucket so he can put other little objects into it then dump it out and try again. It's fun how I notice every little new thing he does. He's also finally waving. He waves and actually says "hello" all the time to me and papa. But once we get out in public he gets stage fright and waits until the people are gone to wave to them. He's been repeating some of our words for a few weeks now. It's definitely in that stage of speaking where only the mama & papa can understand what he's saying, but still... his vocabulary is under construction. "Hello" is his first and most common word.

Sometimes he'll try to repeat animal names. He loves stuffed animals now. I think that love began when Benny went away. He likes to run to the stuffed animal and fall onto it then roll around hugging it. He hugs them and bites their face, which is probably a kiss, really. His favorite one is this Tiger we have that is bigger than him. "Tiger" is the animal name he repeats most often. And I'm beginning to think he calls all of them "tiger." It's still hard for me to tell. A couple times he's said Bunny, but mostly it's Tiger. It's very cute. Sometimes he leaves of the first part and just calls it a Ger. And sometimes I don't know what he says because his face is smooshed into the Tiger's face. But he is certainly beginning to speak! Still no "mama" though. I guess it's cause he doesn't need to say mama. I'm always there.

Aunt Lora and I love his green flip flops! Or as Phia would say on her 3rd birthday, blip blops. We're in awe that he is already so sure footed and has no trouble walking and running in blip blops. He sure does look different every month. I can't believe he's waving and saying Hello! I wonder if he'll stay shy in public or burst forth in hamminess one day? Ok, again, why am I not there?
I don't understand? Where did Benny go?
He is such a little boy, in all those pictures he is just doing such little boy stuff. Too cute. I love his shoes too.
