Levi enjoyed his time, I think. He and I go to Jenene's house often. She has four girls for Levi to play with. So, he was already used to that house and knew what he wanted to play with. They have two big dogs that are accustomed to children climbing on them, so Levi naturally rode Hoku like a horse. And that bike he's on is his favorite toy at their house. Nathan and I need to get him his own. He can't really ride it, cause he's not tall enough., but he still just sits on it forever.

This is Jenene. She and I have become good friends. She sings on the worship team at our church and directs the choir. Her youngest daughters are becoming Levi's little friends...they are 3 and 18 months, and they call him Evi. God heard me praying for a friends here in Hawaii, and as soon as Nathan and I decided on our present church, Jenene and I clicked and started hanging out every week.
Anyway, that was Sunday...now this is on the 4th of July. Nathan had the day off, so we chilled at the house until that evening. Nathan grilled some burgers and brawts in the backyard, while Levi and I played. Levi enjoys climbing in and out of the empty pool. He's pretty proud of himself for being able to do it, I think. Pippin gets in there with him too, from time to time. There's his Hawaiian flower covered Tushie.
This is one of Levi's favorite toys right now. It's just one of his sippy cups that doesn't have the drinking piece in it anymore, cause it broke. He sticks his little hand into the opening and just walks around all day with his hand protected inside. I have to take it off every once in a while to air out his sweaty little hand. I don't know who will get this reference but, he's like David Duchovny in ZooLander. The hand model preserving his sacred hand.
This is his reaction to having to come back inside. Poor laddy. It was also dangerously close to nap time. Look, you can see his molar teeth. He has 12 teeth now!
Once evening came we all packed up and headed over to a fireworks display. The show itself was kinda lame. But Levi enjoyed it, being his first fireworks show and all. He wasn't the least bit scared. He just sat on Nathan's shoulders and watched the pretty lights in the sky.
This picture is the bomb because it captured the pattern of Levi's little light up loop. Looks like a rainbow is hovering over him.
After the fireworks, we headed home to play with sparklers in our back yard. Of course I danced around with the sparklers while Levi looked on in amazement.

According to Nathan, Levi just snuck up on him and snatched the sparkler right out of his hand. mmm....
After the sparklers, Nathan challenged himself to see how many marshmallows he could hoard in his little squirrel cheeks. He made 12
Then after Levi went to bed, it was time for Mama and Papa to get their smores on. Delicious.

According to Xander you are Grammy. He pointed to your picture and called you that.
Looks like a fun fourth. Cute shirt :)
If Anna looks like Grammy, then maybe Arianna will too! I think Vera looks like Grammy too actually. Go Xannie.
I am so glad you found a friend. Friendships are SO important in life.
