In order to actually ever post again, I've decided not to try and recap our trip back to Missouri or Arizona. There are too many pictures and too many stories. Plus, I was with most of the people who read this blog. So...it just doens't seem necessary. If anyone has requests for certain pictures or any particular story, then comment and I'll email it to you.
So, we're just gonna start from here. I will recap on the fire though, in case some don't know. On November 3rd we had a fire in our house. It happened from our stove being left on. If you ask the two dumb boys who were supposed to be house/dog sitting it was a mysterious fire that happened all on it's own. Or a fire that Pippin started. Either way as long as it wasn't their responsibility. I'm not gonna go into all my desires to rant about these two....sailors, because it's just not worth it. I'll get all worked up and to no avail. So, let's just say that I dream of grabbing them by the ear and sticking their faces into all the messes they made while hitting them with a rolled up newspaper and saying, "Bad boys!"
Anyhoo, although our house has been cleaned by professional restoration cleaners, it still reeks and needs to be repainted on the inside. The stove is burned and melted and still sitting in our kitchen because our landlords are apparently slow and weak with their insurance. We're waiting to see what they're gonna actually take care of. Today we're going around to look at other possibilities for housing. We're pretty sure we could get out of this lease with the simple facts that we have no working stove and no guarentees for when they might replace it. The walls and ceiling are still black thus, soot is still flying around here resulting in all our hands and feet always being black. It's really bothersome when Levi walks up with black on his face. And anytime he coughs I fear there is still soot in the air. I don't know.
Anywya, we'll see how it goes. That's just what we're looking into.
Clearly by my use of the word "we" over and over again, Nathan is back home. He got back on the 17th, so we're a happy family again. We all made it through the hard 7 weeks of separation alive. other than the house fire, everything went pretty well while we were on our trips.
Please do pray for our living perdicament. If we can I'd like to get out of this smoke fest, but I don't know if we can. Pray that God's will would be done. That we'll be able to persue whatever option He has for us.

"bad boys" cracked me up! We'll pray about the smoke fest.
The ear grabbing and newspaper swatting was great too. What a bunch of stressful nonsense.
Mom
