Gracie Bella

I'm gonna pretty much skip the Christmas post for now. I have more important pictures to share at this point. I'll go back and show hilights of Christmas in a bit. Here is our last family picture as 3.

And here is a last glimpse at the gigantic belly. Before...

After....
Monday, December 28th, Gracie Bella Shalz was born at 10:57am. She was 8 lbs 10 1/2 oz, 20 1/2 inches long. Dainty compared to her big brother Levi. Here we are, meeting moments after she was taken from my belly. For any who know how the first c-section went, this experience was much better and smoother. Recovering quite quickly and able to enjoy it all.

Levi meeting his little sister. Doesn't he look smitten?
Papa helping him to be a big brother and hold his sister. It was a tiring day though.

Levi picked out a couple presents for Baby Gracie. He got to bring them to the hospital and leave a little something for her as he went home for the night.

Learning to hold two kids now.

Every day I want to take pictures of her cuteness complimented by her sassy pink outfits.

Not sure what this face is about exactly. He wasn't being naughty or anything. But he was proud of himself for climbing up to see her.

Asking Nathan, "Does she need this?"
This picture is fabulous. His second day giving her a little gift.

I just wanted to get a picture of our going home parade. I like the flower vases in the stroller cup holders.

Our welcome home scene. Levi introducing Charlie to Gracie.

I wanted a picture of our best family Christmas present. Worth the wait.
Gracie's first bath at home. A family affair. She didn't apprceciate it, of course. But we all did.

Papa and Gracie sleeping in this morning. She's a snuggler.

Not much cuter than a baby caught yawning.

We had a little photo shoot today. She had a darling outfit on, new bows for her hair from Grammy, and her eyes wide open. Enjoy her sweetness.

So, we're all home and getting settled as a new famioy of 4. My mom is here to help with Levi and household chores for a few days. And Nathan is taking off most of January. I'm very excited about all our time together in the next few weeks to enjoy this new turn. Gracie is precious and adorable and we're all enamored with her. Levi's not sure what all he has to do with her, but he declares her cute quite often. She's a great addition to our happy little family. Do comment on her beauty.

she's adorable, of course. I love her chubby round face. Her eyes look dark, could just be the pictures though, I always have a hard time getting Kole's eyes to look blue in pics.
Dressing her will be so much fun for you, girl clothes are so cute. I love Levi's faces with her.

I do like the yawning picture and the one above it which looks like she's contemplating an evil plot or something. She's beautiful!

Your little Gracie is adorable, I see Levi is a loving big brother already. She looks a lot like her big brother at that age. Congrats...
