I love you right where you are

Levi has had some "firsts" lately. On Tuesday he waved for the first time. I've been waving to him every time I say "hi" for weeks now, and he always just stares at me in boredom. But, apparently he was actually paying attention. He just didn't want me to know. Anyway, he woke up from his evening nap, so all of us went in to get him. (Nathan, me and Benny) So, I was holding him and letting him look at Benny, cause he loves to smile at Benny. And he just waved. Just like that. Never done anything close, and then just 'oh yeah, I know how to do that.' Then he proceeded to wave to papa many times. He's still yet to wave to me.
And then this morning, after his morning nap, he pulled himself up into standing for the first time. He would stand all day long, but you have to put him that way first. But, after his nap, I pulled the front of his crib down and let him sit in there watching Benny while I put some of his clothes away. He and Benny were playing through the bars and then, he just reaches and pulls himself up! Again 'oh yeah, I do that. Been doing it for year.'
He takes steps now too, if you're holding his fingers and helping him. He always loved to stand up if you would help him, but he just kept his feet planted. Now he "walks" as you guide him. He'll be seven months in a few days, and he's itchin' to show it off. He's ready to get this mobility show on the road.
And now he's under the tree trying to unwrap presents, so I must go now.

Isn't it funny how they just pop off with something all the sudden like they've been doin it for years.

It's the mouth and chin, that is what looks the same as Alexander...
