Random

I'm glad to see there's no "devil" on the other side.
I know this looks set up, but he actually put it there.
If I could just spend money freely, and selfishly I would get these three things.
*a decent elliptical machine (maybe not so selfish)
*at least a 1 GB IPod
*an 88 key digital piano keyboard with decent options and sounds
Here are the reasons I shouldn't buy these things.
*I can jog outside for free
*I have a disc man
*I have a guitar and I can't play both at the same time..right.

Why do we always want new things?

So, now we don't know what's going on with Nathan's school in Arizona. We know he's not going in January...yippie! But maybe in March. But who knows. His base has to put up the money for him to go, obviously, which is apparently a lot. And so far, they don't want to. We'll see. But, at least I have him now. Yesterday we had a fun day of outings and just chillin' like ice cream villains. Saturday was not such a fun day, so Sunday morning Nathan sabotaged the alarm clock before it went off, causing us to miss church and then said we were going to have a "Joey and Janice's day of fun."
We went to breakfast at Denny's, and then just out on the town. We had to go to the store to get Levi his next flavor of baby food. I got him peas last week, and tried to start him on them Saturday. It did not go well. He does not like peas. He didn't just make the "new taste" faces. He gaged and heaved EVERY time he took a bite. His eyes were watering because of his gagging. Isn't that so sad. Needless to say, I did not make him finish. Maybe we'll try peas again a little later. But, for now we went to Squash. He makes the new taste faces, but he doesn't gag. Score! Next he gets bananas. I'm sure he'll have no problem with those. I know people say that baby's have a fresh start with food. That they won't know to like sweet better, or at least to not like veggies. I'm not so sure. Veggies are all that Levi has had, and he hated peas! Seriously...gagging and heaving. Sad.

He's starting to get into his pacifier now. Silly boy. For months he hated it, and just looked at you as if you were insane for sticking that thing in his mouth. Then, he started to just play with it. He would chew on it some, but mostly just spit it out and pick it up then discard it. Now he'll play with it all day. And he's very excited when you hand it to him. It's with his toys though. He still doesn't really suck on it. It's still like a toy that he can keep in his mouth. I suppose it still has the same affect. It keeps him busy.

He's so cute. He's sitting in front of the sliding glass door watching Benny play in the back yard. He's been there for about 10-15 minutes now..just sitting htere watching. Every once in a while he'll bang on the glass and Benny will come bang on the other side. Then he'll go back and run through the yard. Levi's little head just goes back and forth watching him run. It's darling. They're such friends. Who needs siblings. We have dogs!
ooohhh...look how clean my window is!

I was looking at this with Alexander and he wouldn't stop putting his hand on the screen and saying "dog, dog, dog"

I like the angel on his shoulder.

In the picture of you two your eyes are almost exactly the same.

Dogs could never replace siblings.

Perhaps not replace...but a decent second, I'd say.
I really hope his eyes don't change. He's almost 7 months, so it seems like they should be set, right?

Well, I never liked peas either. My Mama used to make me sit at the table until I finished them and I could have my chocolate pudding! So, seems he's normal ; )

Pippin is going to be so into that whole scene. He's enjoyed his time at boarding school, but he'll be glad to get back to his boy. 2 dogs for Levi!!!
