This is while I was putting away all the Christmas decor.
He asked for his cape one night and then proceeded to fly off the couch to Papa.
over the weekend Nathan received a b-day card from my mom with a check in it. We went to the store to see how he wanted to spend it, but he ended up sacrificing his cash for a new toy for Levi. He's a good papa. He says this toy in Levi's new BFF. (Best friend forever...) Little Einsteins is one of his favorite shows and he loves Rocket. He carries it around all day and sleeps with it. All the little Einsteins fit into their seats and talk while Rocket blasts off for his mission and It plays typical songs from the show. He loves it! 
It has been so cold here...cold for us tropical weather-afied people. I'm shocked at how accustomed to warm weather I have become in the last 5 years. And Levi of course has never experienced anything else. This is us playing outside...it wasn't actually this dark, my flash is just misleading. Anyway, we've all been wearing jackets and hoodies and pants and socks. The windows are all shut and the big blankets are out. Meanwhile it's 60 degrees here at the lowest!
Levi has been calling me mommy lately. He likes to experiment with different titles if he hears someone else doing it. Anyway, he and Nathan were fighting for my side the other day. They were arguing over who gets to love me. And anytime Nathan would say, "I love mama too" Levi would reply, "No love my mommy!" It's good to be Queen.
Also a cute story...The other day we were at a store and the woman behind us in line was talking to Levi. As we were leaving she said, "He's so cute." Levi crinkled up his brow and said, "I'm not cute. Pippin's cute. I'm a boy." I tried to explain to him that he could also be cute, but to no avail. He has a little Beany Baby Puppy that he loves to pass gently back and forth like a baby and say, "He's so cute." I guess "cute" is a term for Dogs and Puppies only.

What a good Daddy Nathan is! Isn't that just the bomb when you realize you'd rather buy something for your little sweetie heart than yourself? Love Levi's long winter hair!
