not Christmas yet

I have oodles of pictures to weed through from Christmas Eve and Christmas day. I'm not quite ready for that blog update yet. But here are a few random pictures I could easily share that happened before Christmas. A couple days before Christmas Levi and Gracie both had to have their iron levels checked and thus they got "pokies"! It was a tragic episode for Levi, and I'm not even joking. As you can imagine from all my descriptions of Levi, he's a tad dramatic when it comes to pain.
So, when we got home Nathan rushed to their aid! He laid them on the couch, covered them with blankets and turned on a kid show.
Gracie really didn't care. She didn't even notice anything happened. Levi, however, milked it for about 45 minutes.

We comfort each other. That's what we do. ;)

So, these next few pictures definitely need some explaining. Nathan has been watching Man verses food for the past week or so and Levi has really gotten into it with him. He watches and comments and says, "whoa! He doesn't want to eat all of that!" One day it inspired him to have a hot dog eating contest...with himself. He asked for the headband and wrist bands. And he kept up the act all the way to the end. It did motivate him to actually finish an entire hot dog. That's pretty rare. He's such a goobery little actor. He commits 100% to a role.

I like his captive audience. In her heart she's chanting, "Man verses food! Man verses food!"

Victory! Nathan asked Levi every couple minutes, things like, "how does it feel to be competeing in Levi's biggest hot dog eating contest, Oak Harbor, WA?!" It was a pretty funny scene.

And as an end note, today is our 7th Anniversary. He's better than everybody. The end.
