Mother's Day

We had a pleasant enough Mother's Day. Nothing too fancy, just chillin' like Ice Cream Villains. We had church in the morning, of course. And I sang in the choir, which was pretty fun. It was actually decent sounding, so that's always a big plus. After church we went to Denny's upon my request. I knew it would be packed, but that's because it's an enjoyable thing to do. Anyway, they sang happy Birthday to Levi and gave him a bowl of ice cream. As you can see from the picture, he wasn't too into it. He was pretty tired, and what is ice cream anyway?

The rest of the pictures are lovely mother son pictures. It was our day after all.

If you'll notice, his shirt says, "my mom Rocks." We'll make sure that he always thinks so.

Levi and I sat on the couch for some time going through all the animals and determining what noises they make. Some of them were pretty tuff. I mean, Flamingos...they don't say anything. So I told him they say "Hey, stick me in your front yard!"

Ah yes, the Yak. I told him what Ace Ventura taught me. Yaks say, "YYYAAAAKKKK. Yak Yak Yak Yak. YAAAAAKKKKK"
As you can tell, we both enjoyed ourselves. The monkey noise is always a big hit.

Overall, we had a nice mother's day. I didn't have to cook any meals, I didn't clean any dishes. We all just played and lounged. I don't care who invented Mother's Day and for what reason. It is appropriate.

we still say that a giraffe says "my neck is long" because of you.

Sounds like you had a lovely Mother's day. I envy your choir!

he looks so tall in that picture where you have him upside down. Is he tall?

Sounds like a wonderful Mothers Day. Enjoy... The pixes are sooo cute. Levi may look like you but he has Nathan's chin. It's good you found a church. Other believers help us in our lives.
