Christmas Decorating and movie night

The time finally came to decorate for Christmas! We got everything out the morning after Nathan's return. And it's been Christmas time ever since...
This is Gracie's first Christmas and it's pretty exciting. Then her first birthday is only 2 days after Christmas so she has a pretty packed season ahead of her. Getting out the Little People Nativity set that Aunt Lora got for Levi 5 years ago. She gave it to "him" for Christmas while I was pregnant with him. Here's a look back at the first time He got to play with the same set.

I just love all their heads together like that. Look at all that different hair! Big tree for such a little girl. Naturally she yanks on it, but she's really not been too bad. The season has only just begun but so far nothing drastic has occured. She's pretty sneaky though so, we'll see.

Sharing a christmas tin of christmas decorations on the couch. Can't get much warm and fuzzier than that.
So this one has nothing to do with Christmas but she's just so deliciously adorable and perfect!
Decorating Levi's tree in his room. Gracie "helped" a little. They both pretty much played with the ornaments while I said, "no put them on the tree." details....

The second evening Nathan was home we were all in the living room together and I looked over to see the kids like this; each with a papa boot claimed. I think it speaks perfectly of military kids going through a deployment.
This sums it up too ;)

Last week Nathan was gonna take Levi to see a movie, but the kids weren't feeling well. So he had the good idea to borrow a projection set up from work and have a movie night at home. At first we were gonna do it outside using the car port and then we thought, "Hey, it's freezing."
Levi and I thought it would be super cool to lie on the ground and watch it on the ceiling. But, we were vetoed. It wouldnt' have been much bigger than our normal tv anyway...but it is a cool idea.

A shower curtain hanging from the ceiling with hooville displayed in full glory tends to grab your attention no matter what your age may be.
But then there's popcorn... I remember when Levi started sharing our popcorn bowl. It was the cutest thing ever and it still is.

And we'll end this post with a little Christmas modivation. Have a happy Thanksgiving and decorate your house for Christmas!

Your tree is so pretty. I broke my own rule this year. A tree is up. Not THE tree. It's only some cute little topiary trees that light up for our porch outside. But still. I thought you'd be proud of me.

I'm all fa la la la la this year. It's the darn kids. They made me a softie!

Very nice, love the artsy last picture.
I like it when babies are still babies, but old enough to get into the Christmas Spirit.
