Snow Days!

Last week we had the most snow we have had in seven years! Last year we got some flurries that didn't stick to the ground, and before that we got nothing...Florida and Hawaii don't supply much snow. Obviously we were all very excited. Well, maybe Gracie didn't care...but she did pick up on the vibe.

Clearly this was the first snow experience for both the kids, and it was pretty good one. It was a continuous stream of snow fall all day long.

He was pretty happy about it all. He knows about snow from movies, and he says that "snow means Christmas time."

He had just discovered that he could see his breath

Nathan even got a couple snow days off work, which was very nice lining up with Thanksgiving days off too. He's throwing snowballs at Charlie here, in case that's not obvious.

Spiderman stopped by and shoveled our drive way for us. He's pretty friendly.
Gracie and I didn't get to play too much in the snow, since we're dainty princesses, but we did watch from the warmth of the kitchen quite a bit.
Nathan had to make a shovel out of these spare wood pieces that were in our shed. It certainly does not snow this much around here often, thus we do not own a shovel. Luckily, I married Handy Manny.
I don't know how much snow we really got. It snowed again on Thanksgiving too so I think with it all together we got somewhere around 6 inches. That's alot for us. It was an exciting couple of days with lots of good cold fun.
